In the McKinsey & Company’s article Rebooting your stalled digital transformation in oil and gas, from April 2019, described few signs what block digital transformation in organizations base on oil and gas corporates study.  The authors of this article thanked Anosh Thakkar for his contributions to this article.

According to McKinsey, disconnection among the solutions you are building, the needs of your end users, and your business goals. Lack of the right ‘data plumbing’ and failure to embed radical changes in ways of working are the three common roadblocks in digital transformation. The good news is that these roadblocks are a normal part of digital transformations and can be overcome with the right approach.

Digital transformation is too fundamental to the business to be treated as a functional initiative (McKinsey, 2019).
